Review by Sarah Taylor, Updated 8th August 2015

The Virgin figure Richard Branson has entered the world of online gaming with Virgin Games, offering Bingo, Poker and Casino games plus many mini games. For the sake of this review we will be focusing on their bingo game.

Signing up with Virgin Bingo is easy and your account will provide access to all of the Virgin Games. You dont need you credit card details to sign up but you will need to deposit through one of the payment methods before being able to play. Once in the interface its very easy to navigate around all of the available bingo rooms and mini-games. This is an area that Virgin Games does better than most of the competition.

Their bingo software has a nice design, is very intuitive and since it is powered by industry leading Gamesys software ensures fairness and random balls are generated. Being powered by third party software also means their game is highly regulated and is often updated so there should be no bugs. In the eventuality that you lose Internet connection during a game, your game will be continued and finished offline so you dont lose out on any winnings.

In addition to 90, 80 and 75 ball bingo games there are also a subset of mini games should you fancy something different. There are nearly 60 different themed slots games including Blankety Blank, X Factor, Celebrity Big Brother, Transformers, Dungeons and Dragons plus loads more. Also, there are nearly 20 instant win, scratchcard and keno games. The interesting ones we like include Deal or No Deal, Golden Balls, Monopoly, Hi-Lo Classic, Multiplier. In the Monopoly instant win you roll dice and move around the board winning properties as you go. We highly rate the instant win games that Virgin provides and according to stats available to us they pay out more than most other brands.

Support options are good, there is UK freephone, landline for mobile free minutes, chat, email or you can even request them to call you. Not many operators offer all these. There is also a help and FAQ section, although when we were playing the site it just directed you to call in.

Well Branson has done it again. A good enjoyable bingo and side game experience with good support from a brand you can trust. We highly recommend Virgin Bingo.

Update by Alex Eliades, February 1st 2013:
This review was first conducted before the acquisition by Gamesys. Virgin Bingo now is no longer powered by Virtue Fusion and has moved over to Gamesys. The site has been redesigned and everything has now changed. We have published a news piece that details how, why and when this happened and we will be updating this review in due course.
