Gamesys is a very quiet leader in the online bingo space that has been around since the dawn of time; well since 2001 anyway, which in online gaming is the dawn of time.

About Gamesys Software

The company has done things differently than most other software providers and have had major success through a couple of big brands (JackpotJoy and Sun Bingo) that hold a substantial share of the overall UK bingo market.

Gamesys Powered Bingo Sites

JackpotJoy currently boasts over 4 million members and is considered the UK’s leading combined Instant Win and Bingo site. Sun Bingo was launched in 2008 and in that time has rocketed to become one of the UK’s largest bingo sites. Other brands include Heart Bingo, Caesars Bingo and Fabulous Bingo plus a couple of others.

While Gamesys have an excellent bingo game they have also focused heavily on Instant Win and Casino side games and if you have tried out a lot of different bingo sites you will notice that JackpotJoy appears to have a much wider variety of games under its belt than most other sites. Further to this if you check out Sun Bingo you will notice the games have been heavily customised to the brand and you feel you are on a unique bingo site. This isn’t the case when you launch up a bunch of Virtue Fusion or Dragonfish sites, where it is quite apparent that they are all running on the same software with a different lick of paint.

The bingo game itself is very well crafted that runs on an in-browser flash client. The chat pane is on the bottom right of the game screen and a number of emoticons are available for use. The top right pane displays all the different game rooms with player numbers listed so it is quick and easy to see how many people are playing on which rooms. Prizes, including 1 line, 2 lines, full house and progressives are well advertised on the left hand game window and are updated throughout ticket purchases and gameplay. Purchasing tickets is facilitated by a pop-out window that slides out of the central pane to the left, allowing single and multiple ticket purchases quickly. As the game pans out players tickets are auto-daubed and rearranged to display the most likely winning tickets onscreen. The last five balls called out are kept on screen so that users can keep track of the balls. If players struggle to read the tickets they can use the zoom function to take a closer look at each one of their tickets. When someone wins the winners pane pops out and announces the winner.

It is quite apparent that a lot of work has gone into the Gamesys bingo games and people that like Gamesys sites all seem to comment that they like that the software is unique. So if it is a unique experience that you are after a Gamesys site would probably be a good option. There are not many Gamesys sites to choose from but the ones that are available are all top quality offerings and have a large number of side games.
